A COLOURFUL GARDEN WEDDING AT BARUNAH PLAINS
Set within the breathtaking landscape of Barunah Plains, this wedding is a seamless blend of garden romance and rustic charm, brought to life in the venue’s iconic old shearing shed. A celebration defined by abundance, movement, and colour, the florals softened the raw architectural lines of the space, creating a refined contrast between natural garden whimsy and heritage texture.
The ceremony unfolded on the lawn in a lush floral meadow, evoking the feeling of an intimate garden in full bloom. Designed to feel organic and immersive, the aisle and altar were enveloped in soft, whimsical florals that framed the couple in a romantic field of colour and seasonal abundance.
The celebration then moved into the shearing shed for a truly elevated reception experience. Extravagant floral installations cascaded from the beams above, transforming the rustic interior into a dramatic garden canopy. Banksia rose whips danced across the space, weaving through the structure and over the tables, creating a sense of movement and wild romance. The tables beneath were grounded with layered floral styling, allowing the installation overhead to become the undeniable focal point of the room.
This Barunah Plains wedding is a study in contrast — rustic architecture softened by overflowing garden florals, where whimsical design meets architectural scale in one unforgettable celebration.
